Any one got any ideas as to what it could be? My 72 early bay 1600 has broken down in Cardiff. We are touring the UK for 4 months and have a recurring problem. It starts backfiring and running rough then eventually wont start. In past two months 5 garages have reset the timing and all seems good for a few hundred miles then it stops again. Kingfisher Kustoms gave it an overhaul including new points, fuel filter etc, but it seems to be back to its old ticks. Any ideas? Carb has been suggested. Also can anyone recommend a Cardiff ... on my 1970 t2 bay ?
been recomended to take it off dude to they hold moisture any one come across this before?
