1973 tax exempt red Beetle. Its a mainly stock 1300 bit I have been told that the engine has been upgraded to a 1600 with new barrels and pistons ect (cheaper insurance but with more power Ha HA). This is a very strong motor with plenty of power. It has American high back seats. The interior would benifit from a retrim, but its not tatty. I also have a few extras that I would throw in for my asking price. They are as follows:-
1 pair of replacement doors in good solid condition
1 bonnet in good solid condition
1 rear heated screen (element in tacked)
1 pair of Europa bumpers excellent condition
1 ignition barrel to fit the same key as door.
Just needs a bit of TLC

Nice looking beetle All it needs cosmetically is a pair of bumpers and running boards, and that bonnet vent sorting

Hi thanks for your comments. I have the following spares which are included in the price. 1 very good solid bonnet has a couple of minor dents but no rust issuse,1pair of excellent condition bumpers, Rear heated screen no breaks in the element,1pair of heavy running boards very solid ( Not sure if these are the correct ones for the year, and lastly 1pair of fairly good doors. Might have a few other bits as well.
