Hello I an a new member (Emma) but you may have see my Beetles round Cardiff over the years. Digby 1972.. I don't have a digital pic of my first one but it was briefly famous on an ITV Wales program about buying your first car. It was a looker but could not get round corners dew to massive alloys ad was so low speed bumps were a problem. Herman (1969) A semi automatic, I has him for a long time but I list the battle with the rot. Ollie (1971) Than he was murdered by a ford focus Now I have just got Hugo (1970) He looks nice but need a lot of work.

Hugo is a heart breaker , I trusted my dad to go and buy him for me. As soon as I got underneath i found out he is as they say all fur coat and no kickers. Some one has spent a ton of money tarting him up but neglected the basics like the floor pan. He will defiantly be a project.

Fingers crossed I should make it to the next but I don't think it will be with Hugo my dad and his mate seem to be enjoying having a new project.

Just some small things like, problems finding 1st and 2nd gears but finding reverse where 2nd should be. I think the gear plate has been put back incorrectly. The speedo stopped working on the M42 which is always fun. That whats keeping it off the road, there are a load other things that were meant to be sorted.
